MacGiver.org is a non-profit organization that provides free services to local residents in and around the Ruston, Louisiana area. The core idea is to bring local residents together and help each other. More specifically, there are a host of retired and semi-retired people with skills to fix little issues for residents in need.

These issues may be as simple as replacing a battery in a smoke detector for someone who is unable to get on a ladder, or perhaps as complex as building a cabinet, replacing a flapper in a toilet tank, or setup wireless internet.

We will be looking for support from local hardware stores and anyone willing to donate, as well as work with partners like the Men's Shed, United Way, the H.E.L.P Agency, and our local churches.
